FINALLY...
..after over 11 months I changed the title from Trying to Quit in NY..to reflect that i was successful
..i am just beginning to finally refer to myself as a non-smoker.
IT CAN BE DONE!!! I quit on Ash wednesday 2000 cold turkey. These diaries & the people in them are truly one of a kind.
I have met some truly amazing friends at this site and along the way, have shared many laughs..triumphs..dilemmas and dissappointments. These often transended the smoking issue but have become part of my life nonetheless.
What was once a fluke in finding this site and half-heartedly posting has become a daily part of my life,
Thank you to everyone who helped me so much en-route to where I am today. I love all of you guys!!!!!
