Debbie
It was 10 years ago we met in the Quit Smoking Diaries before the journals came about.
I remember coming to the diaries as a new quitter and getting notes from you, helping me with my quit. Shortly thereafter I lost my quit but you remained my friend. We have  remained friends for 10 whole years. I do wish we could see more of each other but staying in contact everyday though email has been quite an experience for all of us. The trials and tribulations we have all gone through over the years, yet we have survived. It took me two more years after you to finally get that quit and I thank you for always being there for me.

10 Years is Awesome Deb.  10 years of knowing you is even better.

Love you Deb

Ten years.  How I wish I could meet the two of you.  How much fun would we have?

Thanks Carla...this was really sweet.  I am so glad that I met you while quitting.  And it is even more amazing that we have remained friends ever since.   So many of these support groups, you lose track of people after a while.   Not us   :):)

10 years is awesome.  Bet you are feeling the benefits now.

Hi CARLA aka MAMA

You know what I say Carla " NEVER AGAIN " but you know what I almost blew it on New Years Eve, I was out with a lady friend, she had quit but she started again after we had been together for a while at any rate when we returned to our room she did not have a lighter or matches so she was attempting to get a light from off of the stove top electric burner I was afraid she would get burned so I took the cigarette from her and placed it in my lips to light it, I was within an inch of getting it to the burner when I realized that I would be inhaling that cigarette to light it, I panicked and backed off I took that cigarette and placed it in my fingers and then on the burner until I could see smoke and then I blew on it,  it was close Carla

You know it does not take that much to started on any journey, pick out any fattening food that you eat and eliminate it, success builds success, lose a couple of pounds and see how you feel you can always put them back on, I have eliminated chips and cut my consumption of beer in half now instead of a six pack a week I am only having three, I will bet I can lose 5lbs just by eliminating those two items

Hey feeling good is what it is all about and if you feel okay with your weight, that's all that's important

Hey Carla WE are now the oldbies , we did it!!!!!!!!!!!!
