After all these years,,,
My house does not smell like stale smoke.
Took forever to get that out!
Maybe you did not ever smoke in your house or car but I did.
I smoked everywhere.

Hang in there and someday you will have these moments of pride too.

Like you, I smoked everywhere
we have since washed and cleaned every wall
in this house, including the closets
had the car detailed twice since we quit
I don't think about it anymore
I can certainly smell it on someone anywhere
walking in a restaurant,,,,in the grocery store
even in church,,,,I guess they have one more before
having to give it up for an hour

that was me not so long ago

what were we thinking

quit date--Dec 26, 2007

I too smoked in the house and can't wait to get someone to paint for me.  I have bought new furniture and luckily it doesn't smell like my previous set.  I can't imagine the "stickiness" inside of my lungs.  I love that I can wear my bath robe without it smelling like smoke.

So good to see you!  I've missed you!!!!    (((hugs)))

Every now and then I'll unpack a box that has nicotine-covered things in it, and become horrified anew at living the way I did. We are very fortunate, Babs. We did it and we keep choosing a better life every day. Hooray for us!

RE: " WOW! BRAVO! Great post! SO good to see you Peter. You are in Canada now? Always love seeing your photography. Send us some more."

Thanks Babs    . . . I have always been in Canada.  British Columbia to be specific.  However, there never has been a way for me to show that in my profile.  Will post pictures in the future.  Take care!  Peter
