106 Friday, 105 Saturday and 103 degrees today.

What a wierd year this has been here in Alabama with the weather.
No cold at all this winter,,,
then we go to the beach and it rains for three days and the
wind is so strong that you could not get in the water for most of the two weeks.
Red Flags all but one beautiful day.
We always go in June because the weather is good and no hurricanes, yellow flies, jelly fish etc.
I have lost the cord to my camera or I would send a picture of the seaweed.

Best part of all was being with family and friends.
Eating seafood...

So I was thinking...
What if I still smoked???

Stay cool and hydrated Babs! And thanks for checking out the blog:) It's my new life's passion cooking old favorites in healthy ways! I realized one day That I was saving 5 bucks a day so that is 150.00 per month (probably more with inflation) that I can afford to spend on new and better foods to create with!!! What fun..

I'm sorry your beach trip was such bad weather. Where we live now it is pretty much the same year round, sunny, mild, warm, and very little rain or cold. I will never leave here!! Willingly anyway:)

We are still waiting for summer here in my part of B.C. in fact it has been so cool some mornings that we had to put the heat on. Our Canada Day celebrations have been canceled until July 28th as our major parks are all underwater. One town had a flash flood right through their main street. Scary thank goodness we live half way down a big hill so no mud slide will get us and the water running down the road keeps on going. Once summer finally arrives we will welcome it.

I feel really bad complaining about the heat with folks that are without electricity and much more.
