Yes....cleaning out this house after 40 years and going thru stuff without himself has been taking all my time...The attic is empty...the cupboards are virtually bare...and closets slimmed down.  Have had two huge garage sales, and will have one more later on...Am turning my house over to the kids to renovate, and rent for me. I hope to start moving into my retirement apartment next month. Have had fun shopping...Have bought a new recliner and glass dining room table and chairs....Found a RED 5 cup coffee pot...and will now get a small toaster...and microwave for my kitchenette.
Still have items that need decisions as to what to do with them...One is a small harp that himself bought...He had NO musical training, and I  never could understand why in the world would he buy one???  He forgot to take it with him!!!!!!  Being so virtuous, I guess I had best learn to play it...LOL!!!!!!!
Rico will return to the family from whom I bought him.  They had to let him go as their landlord would not permit pets. Now they are buying a house...and are delighted tohave him  return to them...He has never been sick...but had a spot on his back he kept chewing...and then this morning he "frowed up"....so off to the vet...It is most likely an insect bite...and he is back eating...Only $230 of course....
Granddaughter has found her wedding dress...It is gorgeous...The wedding will be next July in Portland.  I hope I can be mobile enough to go...can fly !!!  It will be hard to be there alone....Himself idolized her...and she him..
Feel so much better, and will get another epidural tomorrow...
Happy days...all smoke free for all of you....It isn't easy..but it IS doable!!!!!!!.

It is so nice to hear from you!    You sound like you're doing great!  I'm sure you're worn out from working so hard!  I'm jealous over the "red" coffee pot.  I've been looking for one!  I recently changed my kitchen to all strawberry stuff and I can't seem to find a red coffee pot.  I'll have to come borrow yours.

OUCH!  In regards to the vet bill.  They sure can add up fast!  Glad he's feeling better.  I have 2 dogs and I think I need to take one to the vet.  I never seem to be able to leave without it being over 100 dollars.

Will you be able to take your computer/laptop?  I sure hope so!  Please keep in touch and let us know how you're doing.  Have you seen Cami lately?  I sure miss her!  Can't wait to see her name in lights!

Take care and thanks for posting!!!    I was in a really poor mood and you brightened my spirits!  (((hugs)))

I can identify with himself and the harp..I bought a piano that was too big for any room in the house..I ended up selling it on craigslist for what I had in it..But I thought (Man thinking) it would look kewl in the house too small for big thinking..Make sure wherever you are on april fool's day you swap out sugar with salt to keep the tradition alive!! Oh..While I'm on here..I did a "reverse" swapping salt out for sugar at the station but I never got to see any reaction's..But I had you in mind when I did it!!

I am so sorry to have heard about himself, Pykke, but I am so glad to see you working so well through it.

I love music, I wish I could play the harp.

You've been on my mind dear, and its good to hear from you.

They say learning new things keeps our brain active as we age so I'd keep the harp and learn a new skill.  At least you would have lots of laughs trying.

Like the sound of that coffee pot, a bright and cheery addition to your new home.

Good to hear that you are feeling better.

I'm sure that you will find a way to be at your granddaughter's wedding.

You are a person of great character. Blessings to you in this transitional phase and in your new life. My mother's best friend lives in a retirement community and she is so happy there. Her room has a kitchen and she has a little fenced porch. They have all kinds of craft classes and events...it is like a grand hotel.

I just have a good feeling about your move. Love and Light always.

Best of luck with your move! !  I'm trying to get rid of some stuff too. It's so much harder than I thought but getting there slowly ... sending you lots of hugs,

I can only assume Himself has passed. I am so sorry Peggy. But, truth be told, I envy you for all the years and all the joy you had with him.
I certainly will never know that satisfaction.

Now you move on, you crusty old broad. Give some of the joy you've given the members here, to the residents of your new home.

My heartfelt condolences over Himself, and my love and good thoughts to you Pykke.
