As you may remember I got Rico because his family had moved where pets were not allowed. I got him last Sept. He was the sweetest, most loving little fella, EXCEPT he did not like men. He nipped 3 of my neighbors, and also a lady that delivered meals on wheels. I knew I could not bring him with me ...however, my care giver fell in love with him, he with her...So I called the lady I had gotten him from , as she had never given me his papers. Lo and behold, they are moving from their rental, and are buying a house...so if I agreed, she would take him back. I felt this was the right solution. Her little 5 year old daughter had grown up with Rico...I agreed to this, and the day before I moved the lady and her little girl came to get him. He barked when the doorbell rang, but as soon as they spoke to him, he leaped into their arms. I was happy, Rico was happy, and I felt although it broke my heart to part with him....it was the right thing to do....the people live close by and will bring him to visit...I can hardly wait!!!

I have to say that your Rico story is a heart tugger. Thanks for being such a compassionate person! Thanks for your note to me - I hope I can lead the way for my son to at least get out of HS and make a difference.
