Most on my mind this Monday
is my upcoming trip to Iowa,,,
I will be going next week, to celebrate my grandson's HS graduation.
It will be great to spend some time with my son
and his family, as I don't get to see them often,
I will also be hooking up with Jeremiah and Abby
while I am there,,,,and of course I am looking forward to that.
I really don't enjoy flying as I used to,
it is much more of a hassle than it used to be.
I realize there is good reason for the changes,
it really is a lot easier that it was as a smoker,
especially landing in one airport and having to change planes,,,
it meant having to run outside, and have that smoke...
and then going through security again to get to the next gate...
how stupid was that ???? I guess,,,no more stupid than the rest of it,,
so,,,,,let's not be stupid anymore,,,,
stay strong,,,,protect that quit
It's a great day to not smoke

quit date--Dec 26, 2007
hold on tight to your dream,,,,

I used to love Atlanta Airport because they had, and may still have a Emphasema room. I even called it tha tthen, A glass room filled with smokers. But you didn't have to go through security to go outside, and across the street.
If Joe and I travel by plan, which we haven't in along time, I still go through the process since he hasn't quit.
On Our cruise, I made him go by himself.
While I waited to board the ship,
Have fun on vacation

I hate flying and usually have to take valium and have a couple of drinks, so you can imagine how I would smoke. It's been so long since I've flown the last time I did you could still smoke on the plane!! I'm glad I wouldn't have to worry about that anymore, have a great trip Peter and enjoy your flight!! hollyo

Well your getting closer to where I live, though Iowa is still pretty far away lol. Hopefully sometime I will get back to Vegas and get a chance to meet. How fun to actually meet the people we have gotten so close to on here. I always enjoy high school graduations, they have such excitement and expectations for the future. Now when I fly I get chill out pills from the doctor lol! Take one and have that cocktail and flying is actually FUN! Have a great time!

I'm flying to France in a few weeks and will be glad not to have nico withdrawals! I'd rather be an ex smoker with the occasional desire to smoke than be a smoker with the constant desire to stop doing it.
