Earl is coming for a visit :-(

We are all ready for our visit with Hurricane Earl. It will hit us early in the morning and we are hoping it is as forcasted and downgraded to a tropical storm. We have never been hit here in the Valley as long as I can remember anyways, but we sure do remember Halifax a few years ago when Juan hit. It was a mess. I am ready with gas for the generator and a good supply of food and money. So all we can do now is wait for the storm and hope for minimal damage.
Anyone else in his path tonight stay dry and tell him to take a hard right and head to sea...Lol!!!!

Also thought that Earlz was visiting you.  Hope this other Earl is kind to you and doesn't cause any damage.  Wonder why they have to call cyclones (whoops, sorry, hurricanes as you call them) by people's names.  Seems kind of ludicrous calling a weather event after a person.

Yes, Earl gave us a real scare here in Norh Carolina ... I'm not too far for the coast and had to work. I was holding my breath hoping she would take a turn and pull onto shore....
