Yesterday I spent the day with hubby, we went a job site to give an estimate and then went to a very nice Country club for lunch. Not the one I work at. The prices were resonable for lunch, but you feel like your in the club. Weird, but fun. Took puppy for walk in park. Great fun.

So, what's two in one? I read posts yesterday but didn't have the time to post anything for WONDERING WEDNSDAY. Maybe because I wasn't wondering anything in particular. Hmm,

I always wondered who was the first person who thought it would be a good idea to eat a lobster?Really, if you didn't know better, would you rush out to take a bite of that?

Most seafood, like octopus, or squid.

How many people poisoned themselves by eating something that looked appetizing but wasn't.

And I especially wonder, what idiot was the first person to take tabacco and smoke it. Gee, I think I should light this on fire and inhale it. When  you think about it, doesn't that really sound stupid? Tropical tobacco barnI would've wanted to make salad out of this, not dry it and smoke it.

What are you wondering?

Number two-

Hello, it's THANKFUL THURSDAY

I'm thankful for all of the things I listed last week. I'm thankful for my new friends I met this year by being a Chamber member. I'm thankful I found a job I like. I'm thankful Joe got a job this week for our company.

For those who don't know, January my hubby and I started a small business, J & H Junk Removal and Handyman Service. He is right now working at a site. I'm not, because I have to go to my job in a while. So, I take care of marketing, and keeping the books, and paperwork,IMG_0018.jpg image by ojohnny1948 and work almost full time as a cook at a golf club. The work for the company is not steady, so I had to go back to cooking, but I'm thankful we keep going. Cooking.jpg image by Yvos65

I'm thankful to be smokefree for nearly four years.
I'm thankful for all my freinds here who helped keep me strong.

Okay, that's my Wondering Wednsday and Thankful Thursday. See you tomorrow for our Stats.

Hugs Heidi

Lots of hugs
Heidi

I know if you think too much about how we got to where we are it seems INSANE!  I love lobster, however; and I would eat lobster every day if I were wealthy enough to afford it, I might even move to Maine so it would be more accessable, I also love squid, well calamari, love crab and scallops too, shrimp is ok.  Trying to love fish and getting better @ that too!

I am grateful we have so many comforts and wonders in our lives!
