Here is a 'step by step' of how to add music to your posts.
A few tips before I get started.
Practice makes perfect. Few people get it
right the first time.
I found it good to practice in an older journal
entry I've made myself. That way if I screw up,
no one but myself knows about it.
Adding music is the LAST thing I do before actually
submitting a post. The reason for that is because
when you go in to add music, everything else you have
done turns to gibberish, so it's less confusing for me
this way. Before you post music in someone elses journal, you
might want to make sure they are ok with this. I've found
that not all people want music in their journal. You can post
music in YOUR journal at your own whim and desires.
1) Write, post pictures, whatever else you want to put in your post first.
2) Up in the very far upper left-hand corner of your tool bar, you'll
see something that says 'Source', click on that. At this point, everything else you have entered turns to gibberish. This is NORMAL! Don't freak!
3) Your curser will automatically go to the top of the screen, which is
where you want to copy and paste your music html.
4) Type EXACTLY: <bgsound SRC=" (bolded and enlarged for emphasis only)
5) Go get your music midi by opening another web browser window.
There are TONS of music midis available, but I'll post a few links
for you here to get you started.
