Morning Folks,

Whew.  87 days today.  It has not been an easy couple of days.  The nico whisperings have been ever present and I have really tried to keep myself ultra busy and ignore them through deep breathing and exercise and uh oh, I am back on the pretzels!! lol.

But like Skipper8 says, you just have to dig in your heels and stubbornly REFUSE to smoke!  Do I want to go back to hell week again.  No thank you.  No ways.

Since re-thatching our house last year, I have been plagued with the most terrible allergies.  I have been taking over the counter allergy medication twice a day for the last few months.

Well Monday morning I woke up and my eyes were like slits they were so swollen, red, itchy and terribly painful.  I think it is definitely an allergic conjunctivitis.  Awful! I looked like I had been in a boxing match and come off worse for wear!

Anyway, I did have some medication in the house and they are better, but have an appointment with the doctor today as I need to get it sorted now.  Perhaps I need to have an allergy test and then can find out exactly what is causing this.  At the same time, I am planning on getting my blood pressure and cholesterol checked.  Far more confident about taking these tests now that I am a non smoker!  Before I would be really worried!

Anyway, that is all my news for now.  So excited to see all the new faces here at QSJ.  The half percent club is growing!

Wishing you all a wonderful Wednesday....

RYN Thanks for the sight address. Yes its a good one. I'm sure I will visit it on numerouse occasions in the coming weeks. Don't worry about the pretzels theres always weigh less at a future date. Been there done that. Thats why I know group support works. Have you ever managed to find sunflower seeds with husks on in this country. I have had a quick look for them but no luck so far.

REALY loved your footnotes I'm printing them off to stick up somewhere

Could there be mold in the thatching??
Or just the dry dust from it?
At any rate, I'm glad to hear you are going
to the Dr to get yourself checked out!

I was beginning to get worried about you,
as we haven't heard from you for awhile!
So happy to hear you're still on this quit train with me!!
I'm loving your 'To do' list for your quit kit!!

You are doing to good Ozzy!
Skipper is right that is the key to quitting
you just have to be stronger and say NO!
You keep saying it and you will never smoke.
Love your things I should do today
just might have to do some of them :)

Congratulations on 87 smoke free days, ask your physician about trying a spoonful of flax seed oil oil once a day it is loaded with anti inflammatories and may help with your allergies.
