Should read "How are my very special Friends doin' today? I miss writing here. I am not getting to the gym -- so much for that short-lived resolution. I keep saying to myself I'll get back to it, but haven't. A lot of new customers here where I live. It's really very touching that the people I help with their every-day chores (laundry, shopping, doctor's visits, etc.) like me and refer me to someone else. I am glad to help people stay living independently. There are a lot of seriously crippled and ill people here. I consider myself the teenager of the bunch. lol.
Then there are some family problems that seem never to get resolved and hang over my head. But balancing that, the good news that I have been fitted for a Bi-pap mask that I use nightly and I love it. (It is a Bi-pap machine rather than a C-pap, as it has oxygen laced into the mask). Somepeople are troubled by wearing this. Mine goes over my nose and mouth (because I am a "mouth breather" -- who knew?) and it doesn't bother me at all. In fact, when it's time to sleep, I put on the mask and almost always fall asleep within minutes. I sleep very deeply, with many interesting, detailed dreams. Oh, lots of rem sleep which I believe I've been missing for years.
More good news: my brother quit smoking on November 21st. I can easily remember the date as my quit date was on the 20th, different month, but one day later is easy for me to remember. I am proud of him. Each day is a victory. I am his only support, so I check on him each day.
I wish I could spent more time on site and get to know the new people. I will try. It's great to see peter d. write frequently again. 4 year anniversary coming up for him!
Gotta run. have a good day and keep your dreams tight in your hands.
much love,
