Today I celebrate one month completely smokefree! I have not been able to journal much recently, we lost power for a bit due to the storm, and our internet at home still is not up to speed, but I couldn't let today go by without at least a quick post to say thank you to QSJ for helping me in my fight to be smokefree. Thank you so much!
I wish I could write more, but I better get to work, I am taking off tomorrow to get ready to head to the lake. Early in my quit I was anxious about going up there, because I have always smoked there in the past, and there will be smokers there, but I am feeling confident that I will not be tempted to smoke. I am looking forward to creating a new environment there, one that is fun and healthy and smokefree. I will be a good example to hubby's young cousin and some of the other kids that will be there, and who are maybe starting to think that smoking is "cool." I will show them what cool REALLY looks like.
Keep fighting the good fight, my friends, it is so worth it!!!
