I'm still hanging in there.  Doing fairly well.  Last night and this morning was real tough for me.  I had many cravings.  I even had a smoking dream.  Very odd.  I'm so tired right now I don't have many words.  But, we are getting ready to go out for the day and that will at least busy my mind and shake the cravings.  I do still notice that they usually happen in times of greater boredom.  I've pulled out a few more crafts to work on and busy my mind.

Today is day 22.  For me, that is unbelievable.  I really think that this time I will accomplish this.  I am still very nervous though.  I don't trust myself at all.  I am going to my sisters for a day or two this coming week.  They are both very very heavy smokers.  I wouldn't be going other than I have to take her to a medical test with anesthesia.  She knows I have quit and won't easily allow me to talk her into giving me a cigarette.  I just don't want those awful severe cravings to take hold again.

I suppose being aware that I am still very weak is good.  and i've already told her not to let me smoke.... no puppy dog eyes.  lol

Good for you, planning ahead. With luck you will find that you do not crave like you think. you might even just be disgusted by the smell and habit and not be tempted. either way, REM you can massage your ears/hands/feet as you breathe IN fresh air thru your nose.

we all went through this
it amazes me that so many of us worried about being with smokers
then when it happened ~ we found the smell repulsed us

22 days of freedom is GREAT!

Oh my!  Day 22 already?!?!?!  That's awesome!  I remember when you first started as if it were yesterday!

Dreams are normal.  That's the nicodemon trying to play with your mind.  Keep reminding yourself that you do NOT want to go through those first two weeks of hell again.  Therefore, you must NOT take ONE puff!

You are amazing!   Keep up the good work!  (((Hugs)))
