Hi my screen name name is PugsandBoxers, I have been smoking for 40 years.
I am now smoking Marlboro Lights 100s brand and 30 cigarettes per day,
at my worst I was smoking Marlboro Lights 100s brand and 45 cigarettes per day.
I want to quit smoking because I am having trouble breathing.
I cannot afford them.
I am over having cigs control me.
They stink..
I started when I was 16 years old and have tried to quit 1000 times before.

I see you are here again, lol, I had some technical difficulties at first...you will learn to navigate in here and you'll see, that some in here are quite high-tech...others are just plain...like me w/an occasional  for fun.

I just noticed you mentioned Chantix.  I used it.  It works great.  I had to 1/2 and 1/4 dose it...it made me extremely agitated on the full dose.  That is one of the many side effects.  I had to stay away from caffein for a while and I still am staying away from alcohol.  You can break the pills in half (or cut) and cut the halves into quarters...I checked w/my doctor and my pharmacist.  Keep aware for the side effects and try lowering the dose if you feel you need to.  You can also take Wellbutrin along w/Chantix, because I have a couple of different times when I ran into some problems in my quit.  My doc said it was ok...to take them both, but always check w/your doctor.

u can do this - it wont be easy but u can do it. i started at 15. smoked 2 + pks a day - quit almost 10 years ago. i never htought i could do it but i did and so can u
