Hi Guys,

Just wanted to stop in and see how everyone is doing and thank you for the notes and emails.

I noticed I am the only quitter for the 16th these days. What's up with that? See heres the thing... There used to be six or seven of us on this day. If you are smoking while you read this, I am going to say for the millionth time, you have no idea how good life can be when you are free. A whole new world opens up if you just get brave enough to take the first step into it. Quit today!

Things are good here. We are in the process of buying a new jeep as ours is on it's last little wheels I am afraid. Babychild is so grown up I can hardly believe it. She has four and five word sentences now. She loves horses and dresses and wants to eat roasted garlic hummus for just about every meal. Hubby is still off the smokes God Bless Him... 2 months.

I have been busy with work and writing and puttering around the house. Nothing all that new. I think of you all often and hope everyone is well.

Much Love!
Leah
Smoking is an insult to all we have been blessed with.

Good to see you Leah....yes...looks like your baby girl is sure growing up...what a doll!

Congrats to you on over 3 years quit....You're right....if we just have the courage to take that first step, the sweet freedom is absolutely spectacular.

Happy Friday, and a great weekend.

Patty - Day 378

Today I choose life, deep breaths, and a future.

Thanks for the post Blue!  Somehow the quit dates journal will not allow an entry.

Congratulations again and that baby child is too adorable.

This cat looks a little guilty to me. He may have eaten the Bluephoenix ... LOL!

Pheonix, the fire bird, the bird of life, what a wonderful choice for a nickname!  I love it, and I love this post, your daughter is absolutely gorgeous!  She's sooo big!  And keep telling your hubs to hang in there, as you know, it'll get better!

oh my!  that baby and her refined taste palette.  i love trader joes hummus.  they have a nice one w/ four flavours in little individually compartmentalized trays.  if you need any jeep help, let me know, i know a couple jeep people up north.  grand news too about that non smoking hubby.  high five him for me! bless you and your hapy quit.  its awesome.

This picture of Baby-child is more intriguing than the Mona Lisa. What's going on inside that pretty little head of hers.

"I'm going to say I didn't do it, but if they're on to me, I think I can talk my way out of it." She's just too cute.

I'm glad you're well. Happy 16th.

I love this picture.  She is growing up with us, and I love that.  Roasted garlic hummus is pretty sophisticated for such a little girl.  She will grow up with very discriminating tastes for sure.  It's sad to think that you once shared your quit day with so many, and now you are alone there.  Sad.  I guess we just have to be viligant in our non smoking posts to help them!

3 years and one month is terrific!  Your little one looks so cute with her little rosy cheeks!  Great words of advice to the newbies here.
I'd rather be an ex smoker with the occasional desire to smoke than be a smoker with the constant desire to stop doing it.

omg I am so delighted your husband is still smoke free! Good on him!

To say that you are missed by me is an understatement. I feel it as a terrific loss and it is hard to write about it. I understand, though. I really do.
