Why does it always seems like we are waiting for things?  I find myself making arguments in my head all the time.  Well, I will wait til that happens before I do this.  Sometimes, I worry because I have to wait for things........ this causes stress.  So STOP waiting until after that wild and crazy night out with the boys  (or gals) to quit smoking. STOP waiting until after a holiday!   When you get serious about interviewing for a new job, you will quit.  REALLY?  Why wait??  You will get that job NOT being a stinky smoker and you won't be so uptight about whether or not they can smell you.  Your friends will support you through that night of cocktails or morning coffee  (just come here in the morning).  Now that I have not smoked in over 4 years, I just wait for other things, I really am better about attacking activities because I don't smoke, but I wait for people in my life to overcome their obstacles and feel that I am MUCH better equipped to help others feel a bit more empowered with the confidence that quitting has brought me.  Lend a helping hand to a new quitter and you will be rewarded with something really great.  The smile you don't see when they read your post encouraging them and cheering them on..... even when things are not so terrific!  For all those battling to start your quit or IN it now, Don't wait for things to happen, get out there and MAKE it happen for you!
