Believe me it takes some time for that smell to leave... I have just gotten rid of the smell of my best friend Nico.  I washed every single item in every closet or sent to cleaners when I quit.  Had carpets and window treatment cleaned and finally after 7 months ... I can't smell his horrid staleness.

It will come if you keep after it.  Mostly when the house is shut up for a while and come in you will notice it more. I got to where I smelled everything I put on to see if it had gotten back in the clothes that I washed on the onset of my quit.

Good news is... It does go away in time.  Maybe this is a good thing that we need,,,, to remind us while we are so new at this whole thing.  Bowls of vinegar in every room really helps eliminate the odor.

This is good Jere... You can smell now!!!

Be strong and kick it to the curb.
The first two weeks of your quit will be the hardest thing you do in your life unless you must quit again. Not one puff! --Janet--
