coming down',
I think Chris Christopherson wrote that song, though I really like Johnny Cash's version. A sad song, does anyone remember it? Sung from the point of view of someone with an empty life, punctuated by alcohol abuse and no real human connection....
I am very happy to NOT be living this type of existence, though I think I have done this before...a long time ago.
It was so sweet to read about Holly's plans for her family day and I will be enjoying mine, too. I am so thankful for my blessings today, and they have been given to me bountifully.
Next weekend, I begin my training to do CASA volunteer work, I am hoping to make some kind of positive impact on other strugging familes and mostly the kids here in my community that bear the impact of the meth scourge. Excited about this.
Hope everyone has a great sunday and for our newest members,
hang in there and remember that you can do this!

I am proud of you for doing the CASA work. My Mom did that years ago too in AZ. The children really need it !

I feel like an idiot, but what does CASA stand for? I'm guessing something good for children by the responses.
Have a great Monday.

Volunteering is a wonderful thing for us all to do. Anything we can give to our community makes all the difference in the world. CASA is perfect for you!
