I am NOT going to let this CONTROL me.  I have picked a date, Sunday the 21st. 

This relapse will NOT get the best of me, I know I can do it..

Sunday June 21st sounds like a sweet date to Quit. Do you have your plan in place -- i.e. things to use as substitutes (I chew sugarfree gum, sugarfree cough drops & chew on cinammon sticks) & snacks & things to do with your time? I think it's important to have at least a rough plan.

Thank you Erica for you note, the 21st is a few days away if you should get the urge to quit sooner run with it, target dates are good but some times the right time is when you get that urge to jump into the fight. By coincidence my original quit date was on the 21st and the morning of the 19th I bought a carton anticipating I would smoke all of them before I quit, when I got home I decided the time was right, I still have that carton its been over 8 1/2 years now

oh Erica - no I wasnt referring to you - or anyone else specifically.   It was just a very general post and I was wondering if there was anyway we could help BEFORE  a quit was broken thereby avoiding all the heartache and anguish.     Please know that NOBODY on this site is making any judgements - we all just want to help.....   You are one of the brave ones - congratulations
