I had to come here today and share my joy and
celebration of a day I thought I would never live to see..
And to thank all of my QSJ friends that stood by me
and held my hands and taught me the tools
I needed to retrain my thinking and learn to live a life
of freedom..
My life is a thousands times different today.. I am free
from bondage so I can go anywhere & do anything!!
For example 2 days ago we went on a hike straight up the
side of a mountain where we encountered a rattler and
I made an athletic move that Sisco would have been
proud of!!
I run up and down stairs at the beach..I ride bikes with
my hubs almost everyday.. we are both signed up with
a casting agency to be extras! I am working on my second screenplay
and cookbooks 2 & 3!! Life is amazing..
I am enthralled everyday with the path our lives are on..
I feel blessed and grateful every single day..
SO Thank you everyone for all of the support,
and friendship you gave me when I wondered in here 4 years
ago looking for the "easy" way out of my habit..
You set me straight and showed me what to do..
~NOPE~ and~ Not an Option~
became my mantras..along with
~Never Give Up~
Life is grand as a non-smoker!

Wonderful to hear from you. Life sounds pretty good in your part of the world even if you do get to meet rattlers along the way. You are going to have a lot of hearts to put around your neck as the years of smoke free living add up.
Have to agree with Sherri, you were a major part of why I was able to quit and I can never thank you enough.
Keep smiling, you deserve all the good things in life.

Great job. It is so important to share your story. You sound wonderful. The first two weeks of your quit will be the hardest thing you do in your life unless you must quit again. Not one puff! --Janet--

I am amiss that I didn't write you on Saturday. I have had your two year anniversary on my calander and was going to write Thursday but didn't because i wanted it to be on your "day". Anyway, I am here to say CONGRATS! I am so proud of you for hanging in there and making to where you are today. Your pic's are awesome! You are really changing your lifestyle for the better. California is good for you!
Thanks for being there for Pykke and for being here to show your example to those still fighting the Nicodemon. You hung in there with breaking this habit and now look at you! Thanks for being persistent. Keep up the great work and hopefully we will see each other sooner than later.
Say hi to Babe!

YOU ARE AWESOME! I LOVE THIS POST! Thank you for sharing your excellent happy life - its so important to share that we can and do come up and out of the horrid addiction :) Thank you also for the notes in my journal :)
Do not walk behind me; I may not lead.
Do not walk in front of me; I may not follow.
Walk beside me, that we may be as One.
