I'm on Chantix. My quit date is October 20, 2010. . I'm angry. I hate smoking. I hate quitting. That's all for now.
I don't smoke anymore because I don't want to be a smoker!!

Hey there, I know.....it is tough in the beginning and I know the feeling of quitting and then sticking that toxic stick in my mouth once again....ugghhh. I am now again, just over a week quit, but I want to quit at the worst of times 51% and smoke 49%....as long as the percentage never goes under 51, I will make it. Right now it is very close to 100% but know in the beginning that there will be craving and rough spots. However I too know, as I am sure you do too, that in time it gets easier and easier to be smoke free. There are soo many rewards to escaping the smoking trap, as I call it. It just gets better and better, after you get the worst of the WD out of your system.
To name a few:
-handle stress better
-sleep better
-have more energy
-look better, some say that there is a glow on the face
and there are just too many to write out, which I am sure that you are aware of.
This site is just SUCH a God send....I don't know if I could quit without it.
If you think that you can't quit...you are right....if you think you CAN you are right.....
We are here for you...
