LOL. Must be a good sign. Have been so busy with life I forgot another luniversary. Made it another month. Three months shy of 3 years.

Well, since the last time I posted we have:

Got the twins graduated from High school. We made it. I set the goal of not having to move until after they graduated, and by god we didn't. Feels good. One more goal achieved.

Eric left for basic training last Tuesday, and Aaron leaves the 19th of July. We will then be true empty nesters. First time in 27 years there has not been a child in our home. I figure we'll go nuts for a while, but it's all part of life I guess.

Haven't bit a nail in what, almost two months. I'm getting pretty good at this will power stuff. My nails actually look pretty good. I know the wife loves it, as I'm a much better back scratcher now, lol.

Temp job is looking promising. Today will actually give me enough hours for them to offer me a full time position. According to the Treasurer who I spoke with yesterday the our going to make me a formal offer as soon as the bigwigs get together to talk about dollar amounts, so we'll keep our fingers crossed.

Some really good news. I go tonight to talk to a leasing company that is supposed to be buying natural gas leases off landowners in my area. If the numbers hold out it looks like they are going to give me a $90,000 bonus to lease my gas rights to them. That will save the place if it happens, and put me back in good standing with all debtors. Would just be awesome.

So things seem to be looking up. Maybe there is light at the end of the tunnel. Feeling pretty good about it anyway.

Don't really even think about smoking. Catch a passing whiff every once in awhile, but nothing that get's close to making me smoke one.

Please, give yourself time to quit. It does get soooo much easier at some point.

That's all for now. Thanks everyone who has had good thoughts for me.
I am not quitting forever, but today I chose not to smoke.

If ever a turn of fortune has made me delighted for someone, this post surely does. I am so happy for you and your family! Tell your sons thank you for my freedom, and may the Universe keep them safe all their lives.

Please stop by and let us know if things worked out as you had hoped. It was hard to watch your struggles and worry from afar because--even tho we know that things will improve--sometimes it just takes so damn long! Life is never perfect, but I truly hope your job is secure and you got the money to get you out of debt.

Love and Light and keep wracking up those months! Your quit journey has really been an inspiration.
