Someone, I think Peter D., reminded me that it is wondering Wednesday. Well, I am wondering how I will get through everything today and come out smiling. Of course I will, but I always start the day gathering my thoughts and musing over my approach for my to-do list.

I am sorry not to be writing here more regularly. Some days I skip the computer altogether. My in-house business is doing well and I am very happy with the people that I help. Every single one of them is grateful and kind to me, and it makes me very happy to have some extra income coming in. I am never happy without doing some useful work.

I am thinking much of the new year and the very important goals I have set for myself. Being well over 2 years quit, I am ready to take on my larger goals and here I come, head-first.
OK, I wear a Bi-pap mask at night and I am thrilled to report that my O-2 readings are now perfectly good. Also, my blood sugar numbers are very much in the normal range. This morning, my fasting sugar is 100. So I have made good progress.

Ah, but the BIG ONE is weight loss and I am not waiting for the new year to start my plan of action. Once again, I have given up "the whites" (sugar, rice, bread) and also have no peanut butter in my house (I eat peanut butter in endless spoons as a portion) and now I have finally added the hardest one for me: no bread except very low carb bread items. They are
carb controlled tortillas (about 5-8 grams of carb per tortilla) and wheat pita pockets, the small ones. My food addictions are like any addictions. They don't go away until you say NO and stick to it, saying no, day after day. I am and I will continue to do so. I intend to be ready to get my left knee replaced by late spring, say mid-May 2012 which will be exactly 1 year since the right knee was replaced.

I am happy to see new "faces" here and to find out that Ozzy and Kay are doing well and Peter D. and Betsy and many other "regulars" are around alot. What a lovely place! What a dear family! I wish we could all be together for the holidays, but you will all be in my heart.

have a great day!
love, charry lou
