After work is my most trying time for craving a smoke - argh!  So I am trying to make the commitment to type here in the evening to keep these hands busy.  I got home from work and without having to waste time with smoking I have prepared supper.  Our guys are starting with field work so they need hearty meals for the long hours they will be putting in.

Well I need to go for a walk - just for today I will not smoke and I will do anything and everything - except smoke.

My attention span is short when I crave so I best get walking.

"Thank You" everyone for the welcome back and the support - you all are awesome!!!

Get going and keep going until you don't have to go anymore!  The day will come and in the meantime, going is not so bad and better than SMOKING...anything is...right??

God bless and keep you dear Faith!

Walking is a wonderful way to keep busy after work. I use my treadmill everyday after work and then take the dogs for a walk outside. It is a great way to relieve stress!!!

I WILL STOP SMOKING THIS TIME FOR ME AND MY HEALTH.

I also found after work a tough time in the beginning - just keep yourself busy as you say and the craving pass.....and they get less intense too which is a relief...........

Before you know if you will not even think about them very often ...at 4+ months I do get a yearning , but usually I have to stop to figure out what that nagging feeling is , and it is a crave.....by the time I figure out what is happening , I can easily push that thought (note NOT crave) away!!
