I came by today...i read through Lindy's and Karyn's journals, just a reminder of the kindness and spirit here at QSJ. I pinned the QSJ logo to my pinterest board titled health and added; "if you ready to quit smoking dont do it alone visit these great people for support".
I think of you often, i am completely engrossed in nursing school so much that i shut down my facebook account and dont really do any social networking on the computer anymore.
I have started on my professional journey and its so crazy with 4 kids, nursing school, 16 hours working at hospital, hours of reading and studying but im getting it done and enjoying many moments i will never get back (half asleep at times)
7 months since my quit, 45 lb weight gain i am not pleased with....how did i let that happen...UGH! I am short of breath often and have an appointment with a pulmonologist next week as i was 72% on the spirometer, pre-COPD. I hope this finds everyone well and i just wanted to stop in and connect again.
Quit = Freedom...ahh its sweet

Great stats. I know it is hard, but it is worth it. The first two weeks of your quit will be the hardest thing you do in your life unless you must quit again. Not one puff! --Janet--

Wow you sure are busy! Thanks for stopping by!
Just thought I'd mention that your breathing may get much better. They didn't think mine would and it did. I was diagnosed with COPD/Emphysema in March of 2010 and that's when I found QSJ and quit cold turkey. The difference in my breathing is amazing!!!
Keep hanging in there! Stop in when you can!
