Time flies ...........................

102 days , 1,327 stinkarroos not smoked and $ 530.00 dollars saved .

I had EXCELLENT news this week , one of my very best friends of over 30 years , has quit smoking.

Paul was a dedicated smoker- smoked everywhere , said he would die with a smoke in one hand and a joint in the other...................however.

I called him to say hi this week and he asked how my quit was going , I said good , he asked how Normas quit was going , I said great , he said ............are you going to ask me how my quit is going ????  OMG!!

His Dr finally sent him for lung function test , and xray and they told him it was not looking pretty , he has COPD , beginning stages ....showed him the pics , and told him to be quit by his next appointment March 15.....

He decided then and there he was going to try to quit...he has NEVER tried to quit---ever....

Paul smoked his own rollies and used a filter , he is from South Africa and has smoked since he was 8 years old...he is now 60.............and smoke free for 10 days now!

I have been smiling all week , if Paul can quit , anyone can quit . LOL!!

Note the ever present smoke in hand and lighter at the ready-- no more -

WWWHHHOO HOOOOOO- This is where being stubborn comes in handy LOL!

Hey Kath you are doing great. Just stopped in to check on you. I see business is not good. Don't feel bad. We did good during the recession however now the government is trying to tell us things are getting better. I think they are getting worse. Look at it this way.. YOU dont have the money to smoke anymore.. Keep up the good work
