.... The Biopsy report did arrive.
"This is a Stage 2, Well Differentiated adenocarcinoma of GE Junction. No Lympho vascular invasion, distal and proximal Margins clear of tumor" - Stage 2 (T2N0M0).
The doctor explained to me in layman terms that it was a favourable Stage 2 disease. All the cancer has been removed. and it did not spread to either the Lymphnodes or other organs. It did not metastize.
The Medical Oncologist decided that Chemotheraphy was not required.
For now this seems to be a really good news.
I am hoping for the best for my dad. He is doing well (but has gone down little on weight..which is understandable...since his eating habits have gone for a toss and it would take a while for him to get adjusted)
All my "Thank yous' to all you wonderful folks arent enough to convey my sincere gratitude to each one of you.
I really BELIEVE that all your collective wishes did do the miracle. I am humbled.
A big thank you, from a grateful me.
Love you folks
Ramesh

Thanks for sharing your good news! He is lucky to have such support! (isn't it sweet when we can give back to our folks, the ones that gave us so much when we were weak and vulnerable?) "I took the road less traveled by ~

I believe in the solace of collective wishes and prayer, and I am so grateful that your father has a good prognosis. I was about to send you email this morning when I saw you had posted. Thank you for letting us know!
Now is the time your father can help build himself up with good, wholesome foods...lots of luscious spices that are so good for the blood. I know everyone will take good care of him. I can imagine little A following him around...
Blessings on your house and family dear friend (((((((((Ramesh))))))))) Your father remains in my thoughts. Keep steady, all will be as it should be. "When you quit, your forevers will come to you."
