NO...i did not give up quitting...Its still going strong... . I am still cruising along pretty well.
I am back from a great Holiday and a tiringly long journey, finally united with my family and my little Kiddo!
'Fought and Lost' : I know its not a appropriate caption for my post! But i had just read a post from Angelica in which she describes that she lost the fight. My post is a response to her's.
I want to assure her..and all those who have relapsed and for those of you who are wary that you may lose the quit...that Nothing is Lost....Nothing really is lost.
Quitting is a WAR,.not a battle!
You may SLIP and light up a cigarrette; but thats just a small loss;.a small lost battle.
If you have lost this battle its ok...but do not lose the Lesson learned from this loss.
You still have the WAR to be won;You better focus on this ultimate war.
Dont make this small loss an excuse for losing the Ultimate war. Get ready for the next battle and most importantly WIN IT.
Quitting is a Process and not an Event. An Event happens in a giffy...in a moment...but a process is essentially time bound.
It takes time, patience and grit to Begin and sustain the quitting process. Just to let you know, that this process lasts for the rest of your life
Take up the quit, Be Strong, Keep winning and get ready for the mother of all battles... You have many miles to go! So do I.
