I am Canadian and proud of it... now & forever!!

I have always been proud to be Canadian... I have our nations flag tattooed on my body and display it proudly! I dont know how to explain it but I have always felt an overwhelming sense of loyalty and respect for this nation and its great people.
Now that the olympics are here.... I see that pride in almost everyone! It is such a wonderful feeling to see the entire nation come together to support our athletes and the athletes of other countries! It would be amazing if people would show this much support for each other all the time! I know I know... Im talking about a perfect world!!

I just returned home from Houston on the 14th. It was a good day for me to travel to keep my mind off the fact that 4 years ago (on Feb 14th) I had emergency surgery to remove my gallbladder that has gangrene in it. The day my life changed forever --> and not for the better :(.
It was also my 32st month anniversary of not smoking!

I am not sure what is going on around here these days.... seems to be a lot of 'oldies' that have disappeared. I am assumming there was some disagreement as I would be very suprised if they lost their quits.

I just wanted to pop in and send out my love to everyone!

GO CANADA GO!!!

Nice to see you Jenbo - It is great to see young people with so much pride in our country - my son is the same age as you and he and his friends are also very patriotic :))

I am enjoying the olympics as well but CTV is doing a shitty coverage job in my opinion - the commentator on the introductions sounds like the guy from WWF LOL

yes QSJ is back to the business of supporting people in the quit instead of drama , and that is a good thing :))

I am a proud Canadian too!  We are the luckiest people on the planet to live here.

Love right back at ya.  Canada is a beautiful country with wonderful people.  No wonder you're proud.

Everyone says you have to quit for yourself but you don't have to quit by yourself.

I'm with you on the pride in Canada.  I haven't had my pride tattooed on me though.  I'll leave that distinction (and pain) to you.  I love this post!

Hi Jen!  Nice surprise to see a note from you.  Thank you for thinking of me.  Reading your post brought back good memories of the last Winter Olympics.  I loved them.  And while I'm a born American, I sure do love that country that's just North of us!

I am so glad you stopped in! How come you've not written an entry in over 2 months? You okay? Let us know what is up in your world  :) Big hugs...hope you are doing good!

Next time you come to Houston to visit your brother (I think it is your brother who lives there?), let me know, k?
