Do geese poop while in flight?
My 13 yr.old daughter wants to know if we could get hit in the head by a goose dropping.It seems to both of us that that could be painful ,and very messy!!

Yes they do. Look out below.
*edit* I grew up in Wyoming along a migration root for Canadian Geese. There were some species that would winter in our lakes as well so we had geese year round.
I can tell you that they poop in flight because through the years many of my friends and myself had our cars dive bombed while driving. A few had the misfortune to get hit themselves.
It doesn't hurt, goose poopie is soft, like a grey green pudding. It's just embarassing, especially when it's 10 degrees outside and it literally becomes a "steaming pile" on your head.
