Hi everyone. I had a wonderful holiday. We went to Puerto Valarta, then took the train from Vancouver to Edmonton. The best part of the trip was not having to find a place to smoke.   We traveled with friends and the guy smoked I never realized  how much smokes control a persons life. We all know how difficult it is to go through airport security but he would do again just to have a smoke. All I could think was thank God I don't have to do that anymore. When I quit 405 days ago I was so afraid that I would never enjoy life the same, but the total opposite is true every part of life is so much more enjoyable and it is so nice not  to feel like an outcast anymore. To all those just starting this incredible journey stay strong and never give up cause the day will come before you know it when you'll wonder why you ever smoked !!!!!!!!!

Sounds like you had lots of fun!    I've missed you!

Thanks for all your kind, encouraging words.  You're such a sweetheart!

I stayed in a 3 story house over the weekend and you were only allowed to smoke outside.  I was so thankful that I wasn't a smoker anymore!  I'm really enjoying being able to breathe better and especially the smell of my hair when the wind blows it in my face.  Strange.....but true.  I've always had short hair until this past year and I've enjoyed it shoulder length.

Keep in touch and have a great week!  (((hugs)))
