Hello QSJ, wow, it’s been a long time since I last posted. With today being my 1 year anniversary, I definitely wanted to post today!
I feel like I should write something profound and wise, but I got to bed late last night and for some reason got up ridiculously early, so I'm not feeling all that inspired. But, I was thinking this morning how much I like the music of Florence and the Machine, and a song from their current album has a lyric that I like a lot, one that says, it's always darkest before the dawn. I know that's an old saying, but I've always liked that sentiment, I can really relate to it. I think of times in my life when everything just seemed like it couldn't be any worse, and what did it matter if I smoked? But things would always change, always get better, and at the end of each day, if it was a smoke-free day, it was always a good day no matter what else happened.
I haven't been able to visit here much, but I will try my best to get here more often, I always find reading about everyone's journeys really helps me stay strong in my quit.
Keep fighting the good fight, it's so worth it! Dawn/aka Phantom
