Hooray for Sunday it's family day around here. My crazy mixed up family (whom I adore) is coming over and I am making something special, a new recipe, and it will be awesome.
It's a sunshiny; yet cool today. Perfect for a bonfire in the backyard, and my pit is full off leaves, twigs and I have lots of wood, so I think we shall have a fire.
I bought lobster tails on sale @ my local grocers. I am preparing grilled lobster tail and serving it w/triple cheese tortellini in a garlic/Alfredo sauce w/grilled red pepper, vidalia onion and radish. It will be lovely!
Frank, my ex-hubby and dearest friend has the other of the the three pups visiting @ his house this weekend, his sister took her, (Penelope) and she and her family went to Chicago for the weekend, so along w/Leonard's mother and sister Baby (who Frank kept), Penelope will be coming along for family day. Last weekend Leonard's mom and sister came to visit for the first time since Ginger had her pups in January...Leonard went ballistic...jumped on his momma, tried to nurse, lol and just played and had the best day ever. So today one more pup to add to the mix and all three will be re-united again! Today there will be 6 dogs (three pups) and two cats, four grown ups. Four addicts most of them in recovery some contemplating recovery and some we pray for recovery.
It will be a laid back, fun-filled day at home. My house got cleaned so we begin clean...by the end of the day who knows but I do know this, we will be smiling, our bellies will be full, many animals will have gotten alot of exercise and had fun, we will talk about addiction and make our own progress in those conversations; hopefully instill hope w/those still struggling to recover!
God blesses me extra special on Sunday, it's my favorite day of the week!

Sounds like an awesome day! I'd love to come eat. lol Did you know lobster is one of very few no carbs food. I could get used to that! I am learning alot in here. And my nurse is drop dead hot! Wish I could take him home! lol

Sounds awesome. Here in Florida there is not bonfire, we are again in a draught. But I can dream along with you and smell the fire. Enjoy.
