Welcome to The Quit Smoking Journals. We maintain this Web site as a
service to our members. By using our site, you are agreeing to
comply with and be bound by the following terms of use. Please
review the following terms carefully. If you do not agree to these
terms, you should not use this site. This section is here to protect
all of us.
This service is provided by QUIT SMOKING JOURNALS for
use by readers, journalist’s and other visitors to the
QUIT SMOKING JOURNALS Web site.
If you violate any of these conditions, your
permission to use this site maybe terminated and any monies or fees WILL NOT be refunded.
Codes of Conduct:
Please treat your fellow journalists with respect and
dignity.
You have the choice of censorship. This means you get
to choose whether to allow foul language (swearing
etc) in your journal. If you do not want foul language
please check the appropriate box. When you chose this
box all notes and entries will be edited to show
symbols in the place of swear words.
Harassment of any kind will not be tolerated. If
harassment takes place that Journalist may be blocked
from this site immediately and there will be no refund
of any monies or fees paid. Please limit your front page visible entries to three, this will ensure that every member
is given an opportunity to post for the help they need, you can reference back to our welcome letter for additional help.
The Quit Smoking Journals must not be used to promote
a business
or product or to post any sexually explicit images
Privacy Policy The privacy of individuals, who visit our Web site, send us e-mail or provide an e-mail address is a
VERY IMPORTANT to us. We are concerned about your
privacy and the protection of that privacy. The Quit
Smoking Journals will not collect any information
about you such as your name, address, telephone
number. It is a requirement of this site that you provide us with a
valid e-mail address, that e-mail address will only be used to
e-mail you information concerning this site and to ensure the safety
of our site for all users. Your e-mail will only be available to
administrative personnel.

solicitation, or any form of lottery or gambling; 5)contains
software viruses or any other computer code, files, or programs that
are designed or intended to disrupt, damage, or limit the

equipment or to damage or obtain unauthorized access to any data or
other information of any third party; 6) impersonates any person or
entity, including any employee or representative of The Quit Smoking
Journals You also agree that you will not collect information about
the users or members of this site or use such information for the
purpose of transmitting or facilitating transmission of unsolicited
bulk electronic e-mail or communications. You further agree that you
will not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from a
child 13 years old or younger. The Quit Smoking Journal Staff will

Nontransferable. Your
right to use the Site is not transferable. Any password or right
given to you to obtain information or documents is not transferable.
COPPA
The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)
was signed into law on October 21, 1998 and is
effective as of April 21, 2000. The purpose of COPPA
is to regulate the online collection and use of
personal information provided by and concerning
children under the age of thirteen. On October 21,
1999, the Federal Trade Commission, pursuant to the

To address COPPA, we will not permit children under
age 13 to use The Quit Smoking Journals service.
Parents, we do not allow journals to be created by
